Decimal
Refers to numbers in base-10, consisting of 10 unique numbers: 0-9. This is the number system we use in every day life. A decimal number is not necessarily a number with a decimal point in it.

Denial-of-service
A targeted attack on a network designed to limit or prevent access by legitimate users. The attack is accomplished by flooding the network wih useless traffic. Also known as a DoS attack.
